I Love The USA - Weezer

Just to show you how far behind I'm am on music, here's a song from a Weezer album (the White Album) that came out LAST YEAR. This is my favorite band, guys. And I'm just now getting around to listening to it. So anyway, this video right here...

IS THE TITS!

I'm not especially patriotic, but Weezer and Patton Oswalt are two of my favorite things. I'll let you decode the meaning behind the music video yourself.

Special mention for "Jacked Up" and "Fake Smiles and Nervous Laughter," also from the same album.

"If you stay the night will I fall in love?"

"When you say what you hate, makes me feel kind of great, it's beautiful to me."

And okay, just listen to the whole album and every other Weezer song in existence because it'll make your life so much better. That's all.

Dichen Lachman

Is it just me or is her nose super long? Weird face ratio...but beautiful nonetheless. While watching Being Human, I was reminded of this gorgeous actress Dichen Lachman. In the 2nd season of Being Human she plays a vampire royal, Suren. However, I first became acquainted (and fell in love) with her from her role as Sierra/Priya in Dollhouse, Joss Whedon's most recently cancelled t.v. show(2010).

Hopefully she and her exotic eyes star in far more of my future sci-fi favorites.

Jennifer Westfeldt

Jennifer Westfeldt has got to be one of my favorite famous people. I first saw her  in Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place, which aside from being a mouthful, is also the first time I saw Ryan Reynolds in anything. She then went on to co-write/produce/star in Kissing Jessica Stein, one of my all-time favorite movies about two straight girl being in a lesbian relationship. Then just recently I watched Ira & Abby, a super cute movie in which she also starred/wrote/produced. A couple months ago, to yet again be thrilled by her awesomeness I rented Friends With Kids and found it to be beyond my expectations. And guess what? She wrote/produced/directed/starred in that one as well. Lady may not be as famous as Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston...but she is far above them in my book.

Also, she's been in a relationship with Jon Hamm (aka. Fucking DON DRAPER) since 1997. This woman is my idol.

Rinko Kikuchi

Reason #2 I dyed my hair blonde. Because I saw this dark haired Asian girl do it and look super fly. Obviously I am not asian, but whatever, close enough.

Rinko Kikuchi has one of the coolest names I have ever heard, birthname Yuriko. Damn Japs, gettin' all the cool names. Possibly that was racist? But it was a total compliment. I love Japanese girls. And boys...yum!

Anywho, the first movie I saw Rinko in was Babel, which aside from winning a shitload of oscar crap, was also a pretty decent movie. Her character in particular was my favorite bit. Despite the black hair.

The only other movie I've seen her in is The Brothers Bloom, a cult classic which I totally own. I watch the crap out of that movie. I tape people to chairs and use that eye-opening apparatus in A Clockwork Orange on them.

In The Brothers Bloom she plays Bang Bang, an explosives expert who always wears the most fetching hats. Rinko gave a brilliant performance and made a lovable character despite only speaking three words the entire movie.

From the moment I saw her in The Brothers Bloom, I wanted to look just like her. Also I wanted the hats.

Devon Aoki

*God damn those half-JapanESE girls! They do it to me everytime.* - Weezer

Okay, so, aside from being the daughter of Japanese founder of the Benihana restaurant chain and former wrestler Hiroaki "Rocky" Aoki, Devon is awesome in her own right as a model/actress. Because, ya know, she's hot. She's also reason #1 for me deciding to go blonde.

I first noticed her in a magazine. I kid you not, I have a literal "loved her before she was famous" moment there. That basically never happens to me. The movie I would say launched her career was 2 Fast 2 Furious. Then, of course she played Miho in Sin City. That was really the peak of her career for me. How could you not love that lovely, badass gal? And According to Wikipedia (which never lies) Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is coming out in 2013, which is pretty damn exciting. To me, at least. Hopefully it's not a flop like most sequels in that genre tend to be.

In any case, MORE MIHO!!!! WoooHooo!

Billie Piper

Whether playing a Call Girl or a Doctor's companion, Billie Piper is my absolute favorite! She and her horsey teeth just make my day. Also, while checking out her Wiki, I found out she used to be a pop-star in the UK, which is just, oh-hilarious! Robin Sparkles much?

Some choice songs from Billie:
1. Because We Want To
2. Day & Night
3. Something Deep Inside

Ben Browder

Hot Hot Hottie! I have loved Ben Browder since the first time I saw him on Farscape, in which he plays an astronaut who inadvertantly gets swallowed by a wormhole and spat into a different universe. You know how astronauts and wormholes get me going:P Apparently he's also in Stargate SG1, but I haven't seen that yet, so cannot attest to his awesomeness in that particular space adventure, but I'm sure he rocks. He sure rocks my world. Can't believe he's 50 in December.

Jane Levy

Jane Levy from Suburgatory. Because in the show she is an almost perfect mix of Ellen Page and Emma Stone. She's just adorable. Really.

Katy Perry

I take back what I said before. It was said in ignorance, and quite frankly, shame. Because Katy Perry is one of my guilty pleasures. I just can't help but like her catchy tunes, no matter how hard I try. No matter what color her hair is. I admire her chameleon-like styles, and her bosoms, of course. Her music videos are a bit tedious, but at least they are humorous(whether intentional or not). That's something, at least.

Jensen Ackles

I honestly melt, everytime he visits my television screen. The man is HOT. Also I am addicted to Supernatural, although Jared Padalecki just hasn't done it for me since Gilmore Girls. Jensen Ackles, though. MmmmmHmmmm.

To add to the awesome, he was in Dark Angel. Max's deranged brother in season 1 and his saner copy in season 2. When I realized this, I just about shit my pants. Okay, not really, but you know what I mean. Too bad he's married to an actress/model/gymnast. I just can't compete with that.

those eyes say "sex me"

Tahmoh Penikett

Thank you, Tahmoh Penikett, for existing. Thank you, Canada, for keeping him safe and warm-ish. Thank you Dollhouse, Battlestar Galactica, and Riverworld for helping me see an unhealthy amount of this actor. Over and over again. I wish you were a Cylon, so I could have one of you for myself. No joke.

Disturbingly yours,
Queen of the Inane

Tahmoh in Battlestar Galactica.

Tahmoh with Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku from Dollhouse.

MEGAN FOX

is a fox.
I'm pretty sure that I have a strong love/hate thing for her. I hate her b/c she is so hot, and she has a "thing" with Shia, who is supposed to be my "thing" when I get rich and famous. I love her b/c...well, she's hot, and she has tattoos and she may just be the next Angelina Jolie. Which, if you ask me, it's about time she got replaced.
