1. Some Kind of Wonderful - is just wonderful! Mary Stewart Masterson is one of my favorite people.
2. Better Off Dead - Mmm...John Cusack when he was young. I know, the obvious John Cusack favorite is Say Anything, but aside from the stereo over the head scene, I don't really like that one all that much.
3. Sixteen Candles - featuring Molly Ringwald and the hottest guy who never made any other movies. Okay fine, he did make other movies, but not that damn many.
4. Back To The Future - all of them. Honestly, some people get all huffy about the 3rd one, but I love them all. I do love me some time travelling. Who doesn't?
5. Labyrinth - David Bowie and muppets, how could this movie be bad?
6. Terminator - Before he was governor, before the love child, Arnold was a bad-ass time travelling hunka hunka burnin' love/death machine.
7. Willow - just because. I'm pretty sure this was my favorite movie when I was 5.
8. The Lost Boys - Vampires! Not your sparkling vampires, either. These were their much cooler and scarier cousins. Twilight sucks on their balls.
9. Working Girl - Possibly the only Melanie Griffith movie I have ever seen.
10. The Breakfast Club - Because I suppose I have to include it. It is basically the quinisential 80's movie. And Judd Nelson gives me goosebumps of lust. And I own the XXX version...which is hilarious.
I am sad that many of the younger generation I talk to have not seen these great movies. They don't even know who John Hughs is. I mean, I know a lot of them are cheesy to the Nth degree...but that's what's great about them!

BABY LIPS
Baby Lips is just my new favorite lip balm/chapstick/shit I put on my lips. You can buy it pretty much anywhere that doesn't suck. Also drugstore.com is a great place to get random beauty products if you've got time to sit on your ass and just wait for it. Or Amazon. This shit has SPF20 and kinda, and I mean KINDA tints your lips. It's not a gloss, but the Peach Kiss gives a shimmer. It makes my chapped as fuck lips feel almost worthy of kisses. Fuck you Burt's Bees, a new badass is in town.
I own 3 different colors and they are all awesome smelling, but don't try to lick your lips. It tastes like ass. That would be my only complaint. It tastes like ass. But it's totally worth it.

Katy Perry
I take back what I said before. It was said in ignorance, and quite frankly, shame. Because Katy Perry is one of my guilty pleasures. I just can't help but like her catchy tunes, no matter how hard I try. No matter what color her hair is. I admire her chameleon-like styles, and her bosoms, of course. Her music videos are a bit tedious, but at least they are humorous(whether intentional or not). That's something, at least.

Jensen Ackles
I honestly melt, everytime he visits my television screen. The man is HOT. Also I am addicted to Supernatural, although Jared Padalecki just hasn't done it for me since Gilmore Girls. Jensen Ackles, though. MmmmmHmmmm.
To add to the awesome, he was in Dark Angel. Max's deranged brother in season 1 and his saner copy in season 2. When I realized this, I just about shit my pants. Okay, not really, but you know what I mean. Too bad he's married to an actress/model/gymnast. I just can't compete with that.

Justine Joli
Not that you wanted to know, but Justine Joli is my new favorite porn star because she is a redhead and she is a nerd. She said "Cheeky Bint" in one of her porns...which is just epic. She goes to ComicCon. She is the only person I don't fall asleep to in girl on girl scenes, and yeah. She's hot. That's about it.

Movies I'm In Love With...
I'm feeling a little listy today, so I'm putting my top 10 all time movies, and the reasons why(In alphabetical order):
1. A Clockwork Orange - Deeply, disturbingly fucked up. Also the first movie my Papa made me watch.
2. Amelie -Because what's life without whimsy? This might've been the first subtitled film I ever saw.
3. Blade Runner - Sci-fi cult classic. It's just epic. Need I add Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer???
4. Clerks II - Kevin Smith makes working at a crappy fast food chain look almost fun. He also managed this with a convenience store in Clerks, too bad I know better on both counts. I should really stop modeling my life on Kevin Smith movies. Also, Jason Mews is tasty, tasty.
5. Fight Club - Because it is AWESOME. My favorite movie for the past...oh, since it came out. One of the only movies I can quote with any reliability. Need I mention Edward Norton is my favorite actor and Brad Pitt is just smokin' hot in this flick.
6. Frida - A movie about my favorite artist Frida Kahlo, starring Salma Hayek, one of the hottest women ever. Duh.
7. Jackie Brown - Too many great actors to list right now, but it stars Pam Greer, so obviously it is badass. I'm blown away by how many people have not seen this Quentin Tarantino gem.
8. Pan's Labyrinth - Subtitled. Sad. Creepy. Fairytale-esque. It was made for me.
9. Princess Bride - True Love. It reminds me of childhood and Cassandra. Also it is just hilarious. "My name is Inigo Montoya, you kill my father, prepare to die."
10. When Harry Met Sally - Because it is so true. And I'm not really sure why, but it's my comfort movie. Whenever I have a truly bad day, it perks me up. Also I know it verbatim, so I can put it on and feel free to pass out if I need to.
*side note: remind me to never do a post with that many links ever again.
* 10 points to anyone who knows how many of these movies were based on books/had books made out of them.

Tahmoh Penikett
Thank you, Tahmoh Penikett, for existing. Thank you, Canada, for keeping him safe and warm-ish. Thank you Dollhouse, Battlestar Galactica, and Riverworld for helping me see an unhealthy amount of this actor. Over and over again. I wish you were a Cylon, so I could have one of you for myself. No joke.
Disturbingly yours,
Queen of the Inane

JENNY OWEN YOUNGS
I first heard her on Weeds. This isn't surprising really as Weeds is one of my biggest sources for new music that I end up loving. Gotta love that show. Anyway, her music is just too cute and powerful to ignore, and her voice is pretty awesome. She's also pretty poetical(har har)...I wish I could write like her. Alas:(

Rilo Kiley
I've been listening to a lot of Pandora at work on my phone lately (wow, how many prepositions can I fit in this sentence?)and have stumbled upon soooo many great new artists with which to fall in love. Rilo Kiley is probably my favorite of these. They have that indie chill factor, and some imaginitive lyrics. Also casual cussing. Zut Alors! Mostly, though, I just love Jenny Lewis and her gorgemous voice. You know me and redheads...
These are my favorites:
Portions For Foxes *Cuz, talking leads to touching, and touching leads to sex, and then there's just no mystery left...*
Science vs. Romance *...and so it seems that you've grown up and over me...*
A Better Son/Daughter *And sometimes when you're on, you're really fucking on! And your friends they sing along and they love you...But the lows are so extreme that the good seems fucking cheap and it teases you for weeks in its absence...*
Teenage Love Story *I just remind you of yesterday, places forgotten and friends passed away. But if you want me, please won't you say...so I can diss you, diss you, diss you and walk away*
Okay I could go on and on this way, I seriously love all their songs, but just buy the fecking cd, my fingers are tired. Hehe, get it?
